Colour: Various shades of dun, also grey, brown, black and occasionally bay and liver chesnut with silver mane and tail.
Confornation: Well carried head with broad forehead. Kind eyes, wide nostrils and laid back shoulders. Silky mane and tail, silky feathers, strong and powerful hindquarters and dark hooves.
Enviroment: Highlands (mountains and lochs)
Originated from Scotland. Highland ponies have done their time in Scottish history.
